I live on the east coast of Tasmania near the fishing village of St Helens, the inspiration for the setting of my recently completed YA Science Fiction book Akropolis. After a career in Australia and Europe as a graphic designer and art director, I now work as a writer from my home overlooking the Tasman Sea.
I started this blog initially to publicise my book, but the posts are really an eclectic mix of art, books, poetry, writing and life on an island. You can find them on my Blog page on the menu.
Akropolis is my first novel. I wanted to write a book for teenagers who are inspired, as I still am, by speculative ideas and ancient civilisations and the nature of survival. I plan to post an excerpt here before publishing it as an ebook on Amazon.
I have nominated you for the Illuminating blogger award.
I hope you take my nomination in the spirit it is give, though don’t feel obliged to accept. More details are here: http://petedenton.wordpress.com/2013/02/24/blogging-awards-ive-been-bad/
